Affiliate Codes: If you use or share an affiliate/creator code, we track limited data (e.g., referral count, aggregated spend via the code) to calculate leaderboard rankings and revenue shares. Personal details (e.g., name, email) are not shared with affiliates.
Publicly Visible Data
The App’s core functionality involves public display of certain information for leaderboard rankings and social engagement. By using the App, you consent to the following being visible to all users:
- Username
- Leaderboard position
- Spending amounts (in aggregated form, e.g., total spent for ranking)
- Bio (for Top 10 leaderboard users only)
- Profile picture
Linked social media handles
Important: Public visibility is a mandatory, non-negotiable feature. To avoid public visibility, you must not register or use the App.
Usage and Technical Data
We collect non-personal data to improve functionality, including:
- IP address
- Device and browser identifiers (e.g., device type, OS, model, unique IDs)
- App session duration
- Pages/screens viewed
- Referral sources
Crash reports and technical logs. This data is collected via cookies, SDKs, or third-party analytics tools.

We use safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and POPIA compliance to protect your data. By using the App, you consent to these transfers.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information:
- While your account is active
- As required by law (e.g., tax records for 5 years under South African law)
- For anonymized analytics
In backups for legal/administrative purposes (up to 12 months)
Upon account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where legally required. Publicly visible data (e.g., leaderboard rankings) may persist in aggregated/anonymized form.
Data Security
We use encryption, firewalls, and access controls to protect your data. In-app purchase data is secured by Apple/Google. No internet service is 100% secure, and you use the App at your own risk. We are not liable for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control. In case of a data breach posing risk to your data, we will notify affected users and authorities per POPIA, GDPR, and other laws within 72 hours where required. aggregated/anonymized form.

Age Restriction
The Leader Board is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. By registering, you confirm you are 18+. If we discover an underage user, we will terminate their account and delete their data within 30 days. We may request ID verification to enforce this.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in practices or laws. Material changes will be notified via in-app announcements, email, or a prominent notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

By using The Leader Board, you:
